What is a company registered office?
It means establishing your company's legal registered office at a professional address. At The Mug, your mail is received, sorted and kept there, and you use this address on your official documents.
Can I register my company in Brussels or in Wallonia?
Yes. Choose the Brussels-Capital Region (Schuman or Flagey) or the Walloon Region (Enghien), depending on which administrative and tax region suits you.
How much does a registered office cost?
From €45/month on the yearly plan (€540/year), mail handling included and with no long-term commitment. With scanning: €620/year. With forwarding: €780/year. With both: €900/year. Six-month plans are also available, from €300 for 6 months.
Does the registered office give access to the offices?
The registered office alone provides the address and mail handling; you can add credits for access to the coworking and to the meeting rooms, or rent a private office.
How soon can I use the address?
As soon as the agreement is signed and the first invoice paid: the order is placed online and everything is settled within a few working days. You can then use the address on your articles of association and business documents.
Can I register a company that is being incorporated?
Yes. You indicate at the time of ordering that the company is being incorporated, the agreement is drawn up in that name, and you send us the company number as soon as it is allocated.
What about registered letters and bailiffs?
Registered letters are received and kept in your locker. However, we are not authorised to accept writs served by bailiffs: only the delivery notice is passed on to you.
How does a registered office contract end?
With two months' notice, given by registered letter or e-mail. You then transfer your registered office to another address and send us the publication in the Belgian Official Gazette.
